• FULL TUITION payment is due within 7 calendar days of registration. Pending registrations that are not paid on time may be canceled. All Fall trimester students must also submit an annual, per family $25 Registration/Portfolio Fee (this fee is non-refundable).
• PAYMENT MAY BE SENT to: ActonArt, P.O. Box 2743, Acton, MA 01720 or delivered directly to the studio. (Note: please do NOT send payment to our street address since there is no commercial mail delivery service at this location).
• QUALIFIED DISCOUNTS for multiple student families may be deducted from the tuition of EACH family member when two or more family members are registered (see qualified discounts in table above).
• ART SHOW fee of $35 (for custom invitations, matting and artists' reception) is collected during the Spring trimester.
• TUITION INCLUDES high quality & professional artists materials (Mixed Media, Portfolio Development and Advanced Studio classes may have an additional materials fee).Additional or Optional Fees:
• The MIXED MEDIA, PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT, FACES, FIGURES & FEATURES, ADVANCED STUDIO and OIL PAINTING classes (2 hours) have an additional materials fee added to the tuition. The quantity and quality of materials used in this class represent a significant increase over the costs for all other classes. Continuing price increases on artists materials have made it necessary to add this charge.
• Try-out classes and student placement evaluation are offered on a space-available basis. Payment is due on the day of the class. TRY-OUT FEE: $25

FAMILY DISCOUNT
Families with multiple children/students who register at the beginning of the same trimester may take a qualified discount on EACH student. Discounts for different classes are shown in this table.
HOME SCHOOL DISCOUNT
Home school families may take a qualified discount on any scheduled homeschool class (discount is not applicable when home school families attend regular classes). Families with multiple children/students who are registered at the beginning of the same trimester may take the qualified discount twice per child/student. See this table.
SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT
ActonArt will extend the qualified discount to anyone 62 or older. Discount is applied according to the length of the class shown on this table.Bi-Weekly classes
Classes that are scheduled on a bi-weekly basis (ex. Drawing & Painting for Adults) will be priced individually. Please check the class descriptions for tuition. Any additional material costs will be noted as well.Try-out classes
Prospective students who wish to try a class before registering may do so in any class with current openings. Filled classes are not open for try-outs. There is a flat fee of $25 for all try-outs regardless of the length of the class. SINCE ACTONART does not accept credit card payments we will hold your registration while waiting to receive payment. Online registration is time/dated and WILL TEMPORARILY SECURE a student's place in class in the order of receipt. FULL TUITION PAYMENT by check or cash must be received within 7 calendar days of registration. It can be sent via U.S. Postal Service (see address below) or hand-delivered to the studio. Upon receipt of payment we will complete your registration(s). Pending registrations which remain unpaid or without a deposit after 7 days may be canceled.
• FULL PAYMENT must be made within seven days of online registration to hold placement in summer classes and programs. Registrations that remain unpaid more than seven days after an online registration form has been submitted may be canceled.

There is a $50 non-refundable fee built into the tuition. Summer 2012 class/program participants who withdraw prior to May 31, 2012 will be provided a refund minus the $50 fee. NO refunds will be provided to participants who withdraw after May 31, 2012. Please call us at 978-266-1600 if you have any questions.
